A Ballasalla pharmacy says it wants to offer patient consultations from its premises on the Balthane Industrial Estate.
Kingsley Muti, based on Port Way, has applied for planning permission to allow part of its building to be used as a pharmacy dispensing site and health care service.
In February, the company had a similar application refused after planners said the proposal would fail to maintain and enhance the viability and vitality of town centres.
The company currently employs three pharmacists, three dispensers, two receptionists and two delivery drivers.
