No early publication of agricultural census, says DEFA

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it won't publish agricultural statistics - because they're due out shortly.

A Freedom of Information request asked the department to publish its annual agricultural census return statistics for this year.

But in its response DEFA said the annual data will be published by the end of October.

As a result, it says it won't release the figures early and refused to publish the information.
