The amount of money held by Island-based banks has increased over the last year.
That's according to the Financial Services Authority, which says there's been an incrase in the Island's deposit base.
The figures went up by 7.8 per cent to £46 billion between the end of June last year and the end of June this year
That represents a rise of £3.3 billion over the last 12 months.
