A Manx company's signed a billion-dollar deal with a Chinese shipyard for 10 new ships.
Ray Car Carriers, registered in Athol Street in Douglas, has ordered 10 pure car and truck carriers.
The ships, which can carry more than 8,000 cars, will be built by Guangzhou Shipyard International.
The vessels are due for delivery between 2029 and 2031.
