This World Suicide Prevention Day, Isle of Man Samaritans is reminding local people it's here should anyone need its services.
Tuesday, September 10 hopes to encourage people to spread awareness of suicide prevention.
To mark the day, Samaritans’ Isle of Man volunteers will walk the length of the promenade at 6pm in silence, to pay respect to local people who have taken their own lives - any members of the public who wish to join them are welcome.
Samaritans offers confidential and emotional support in person, by telephone, email and text and is available to talk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It is free and anonymous to call them on 116123 or you can email jo@samaritans.org.
