Worker\'s Union Prospect President on Island for Talks
The President of the Workers Union Prospect is on the Island today holding meetings with concerned members of the union.
She has come over in light of recent talk within the government of mass cut backs in the public sector.
As it stands Civil Servants are facing another pay freeze and major pension reductions, if a current government proposal goes through.
Although nothing is definitive its also feared jobs will go as the government struggles to fill the £90 million hole in their annual budget, left by the end of the Tax and VAT arrangement with the UK.
