Preparation for Commonwealth Youth Games Going Well So Far Says Chairman
The good news that the Bowl will be getting redeveloped in time for the Commonwealth Youth Games means it’s now full steam ahead for the organising committee.
There's an estimated 1000 plus competitors who will be descending on the Island in September 2011 for the games.
On top of all of the event planning there is also a major amount of organising that has to go on behind the scenes, for example the committee have to link into all of the International federations represented in the Games, for their representatives to approve all of the work being done over here.
Chairman Geoff Karran has said that things are currently going well and with the Bowl due to be completed in time he is hopefull for a memorable event that does the Isle of Man justice.
