Another reservoir at Ballagawne has just been commissioned, that one will serve the south of the Island and replace the old one that had served the area since 1945.
Both reservoirs consist of twin underground tanks that can hold 1.5 million gallons of water.
The old reservoir at Ballagawne has been decommissioned, and demolishing work will start soon.
