A woman had to be rescued from the coastline on Friday afternoon.
The female was walking on the Sloc when she fell. A helicopter transported her to Nobles Hospital.
The area where the woman was trapped was so remote that communicating was difficult so the Marine Operations Centre in Douglas worked closely with Liverpool, Holyhead and Belfast Coastguard throughout the rescue.
Due to a technical fault, the aircraft shutdown on the hospital helipad and remained their overnight.
