The Chief Executive of an Energy Company is holding a public meeting in the North later this month to discuss his proposals to establish on-shore wind farms along the coast of Ballaugh and Jurby.
Chris Bale is from Ocean Electric Power, they've been exploring potential wind farm sites on the Island over the past 18 months.
He says after extensive studies such a project would be viable.
Mr Bale will answer questions from residents of Ballaugh, Jurby and Kirk Micheal at the meeting which is being held at Ballaugh Parish Hall on 28th September.
