Guesthouse needs planning permission to change colour

A guesthouse in Douglas has applied for planning permission to change colour.

Owner Sabrina Schnetler has applied to repaint the outside of the Serenity Suites building on Marathon Terrace.

But planners say because it's in a conservation area, changing its colour needs planning approval first.

Mrs Schnetler wants to paint the building green with grey accents instead of its current magnolia.
