The Curraghs Wildlife Park has paid tribute to one of its ring-tailed lemurs, after it was put to sleep following an illness.
Tizzy was a favourite with staff, volunteers and visitors, and was sadly diagnosed with a tumour in the liver, and could no longer receive treatment.
The park says the 18 year old lemur was the 'granny' of the group, after arriving on the Island in 2015.
It adds that Tizzy will be missed, and they continue to help raise funds and awareness for protection of wild habitats for the species.
