A weather warning is in place for sleet and wet snow.
The yellow warning came into force at 5am today, and will run until later this morning at 9am.
Forecasters say rain overnight will turn to sleet or wet snow in areas above 1,000 feet.
Although 2cm of snow is expected, the Met Office predicts it will quickly melt.
