The Department of Infrastructure says it doesn't have any responsibility for cleaning up seaweed.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall was asked in House of Keys this week by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about it.
Mr Moorhouse wanted to know who removes excess seaweed from harbours and beach areas, if not local authorities.
The minister spoke about how it's managed instead:
No gas price hike after regulator review
Cafe hits back after staff abused
Online appointments being considered by sexual health clinic
Treasury can’t say how much is made from medicinal cannabis
Road closures planned for tin baths this weekend
