More weather warnings are in place across the Isle of Man for today.
An amber warning for coastal overtopping is in force with strong to gale force winds expected - exposed promenades such as Douglas, Castletown and Laxey as well as Shore Road in Rushen are the most likely to be affected.
Strong south to south-westerly gusts are expected to cause large waves to wash water and debris onto exposed roads around high tide at 1.45pm.
The warnings from Ronaldsway Met Office are due to be in place until 3.45pm this afternoon.
