Cloudy weather looks set to deny the Island a view of the northern lights this weekend.
In the past few days, the biggest solar flares for years mean most of northern Europe might be in a position to see the aurora.
Solar weather predictions show there's a good possibility of seeing the phenomenon from the Isle of Man tonight.
However, rain is forecast for this evening - unless there's a break in the clouds, we may miss the light show!
