An historic waterwheel in Onchan isn't going to get any repairs in the near future - either from its owner or tenant.
The state of the Groudle Glen building was raised in Tynwald this week, when Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot was quizzed on the topic.
His department rents the structure from Onchan Commissioners, and the two had disagreed over who should pay for repairs.
Mr Boot said DEFA wasn't liable for the cost, and the local authority won't pay for the refurbishment:
