Message Goes Out to Walkers to Avoid Livestock in Fields
As we move into the good weather the Manx Public are being warned about the potential dangers of walking near livestock when in the countryside.
Across the UK year on year there are cases of people being injured, and in some instances killed by aggressive cattle.
It happens especially around the summer months as the cattle begin calving, as this makes them very protective and territorial.
Walkers are asked to plan routes around fields holding livestock, especially those with calves.
