An inquest in Liverpool has heard how a car dealership director died three days after a crash in St Johns.
61 year old Stephen Hands of Onchan, who ran Swift Motors, was riding his bike on the Poortown Road on May 6 last year when he was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van.
The hearing was told he was airlifted to Aintree Hospital but died from a hypoxic brain injury
At Liverpool Coroners' Court this week, coroner Andre Rebello handed down a conclusion of death by road traffic collision, adding criminal proceedings in the case were continuing here on the Isle of Man.
