People in Port Erin need to vote ‘if they want to see change’.
That’s the plea from Dawn Curry who’s standing, for one of two commissioner seats, in the by-election in the south.
She wants to improve public transport and try and boost the healthcare service:
Ms Curry’s manifesto is available on the Port Erin Commissioners’ website here.
The by-election is taking place on 8 December to fill two vacant seats - six people are standing for election.
Residents can vote at Port Erin Commissioners’ office on Bridson Street from 8am until 8pm.
The other candidates standing are:
John Anslow
Adele Betteridge
Hayley Fox
David Silvester
Ian Swindells
