The British Red Cross is looking for volunteers on the Island to help combat loneliness.
The charity is urging local people to spare just a couple of hours a week to become a community volunteer in Douglas.
The role includes supporting those affected by social isolation, helping them gain confidence and reconnect with their community.
Full training will be provided - if you're interested you can contact the British Red Cross Support care.
