Veteran railcards can be used on the Isle of Man.
The news was shared following a question on the matter from Juan Watterson MHK in Tynwald this week.
He asked what progress has been made in negotiating reciprocity with the UK on a veterans' railcard.
It was revealed veterans who live on Island can benefit from the same savings as those in England, Wales and Scotland.
The card - launched in October 2020 allows veterans to save 1/3 off most rail fares to re-connect loved ones or access training and work opportunities.
The railcard can be bought via https://www.veterans-railcard.co.uk/
