With just under 20 per cent of the Island’s adult population smoking - there will be a push to kick the habit once and for all next week.
Wednesday is annual No Smoking Day with the theme for this year ‘V is for Victory’.
Studies show that around two-thirds of smokers want to quit - with this in mind the Island’s Quit4You team is offering a helping hand for people to realise this goal.
People can find out more information at the Isle of Man College Health Fayre which will run from 9.30am to 1pm.
There will also be the opportunity to have a personal carbon monoxide reading.
