Further talks between the Department of Infrastructure and bus union are planned for this afternoon, though the two sides are said to still be "a long way apart".
That's according to DOI member Joney Faragher in the House of Keys this morning, Tuesday, March 10, speaking on behalf of Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall, who was absent.
She was responding to an urgent question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asking for an update on strike negotiations.
Ms Faragher talked about where things stand:

Bus Vannin 'open to talks' to end strike
