Chief Minister Alf Cannan's due to meet with senior ministers this afternoon to discuss the economic impact of the conflict in the Middle East.
The government says the Economic National Strategy Board will look at possible rises in energy prices, and the impact on the Manx economy in general.
It will also assess knock-on effects for the Island's food and medicine supply chains, and help for Manx citizens abroad.
Mr Cannan said he wants to reassure people his government's preparing for how the war may affect us closer to home.
