There’s been an unexpected change to tonight’s meeting hosted by the Positive Action Group as it guest speaker is stuck at Liverpool Airport.
Well-known local activist Roger Hayes was due to give the main talk during tonight’s discussion over the possibility of establishing a Manx bank owned by its customers.
However, just after 4pm the group confirmed Mr Hayes is stuck in the UK.
However, the meeting will still go ahead and there’s a possibility Mr Hayes could still contribute via a telephone link.
The group has apologised to attendees in advance but says doors will open at 7pm at Union Mills football clubhouse.
