Bookshop Owner Rallies Former UK Residents to Have Their Voices Heard in General Election
Isle of Man residents who are eligible to vote in the upcoming UK General Election are being urged to do so.
Bookshop owner Sue Green has lived on the Island for the past three years and has decided to raise awareness to the importance of registering your vote, if indeed you are able too.
The upcoming election on May 6th is being touted as the most important in recent memory.
If you're a former UK resident, and have lived on the Island for as long as 15 years you will still be able to vote.
Sue said people must remember that despite no longer living in the UK, there are still many aspects of Island life that are directly affected by UK Government rulings.
