Two men charged with bringing drugs to the Island remanded in custody

Two men charged with bringing cannabis and cocaine onto the Island have been remanded in custody.

Daniel Graham Moody of Meadowfield Close in Rock Ferry in Wirral and Leroy Stephen McHarrie of Nursery Avenue in Onchan appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via a live video link from prison.

35 year old Mr Moody and 23 year old Mr McHarrie deny importing a kilo of cocaine and four kilos of cannabis on June 6 last year.

Neither made an application for bail and both were remanded in custody until they appear again on June 13.
