A House of Keys committee says the government should introduce a generational ban on buying cigarettes.
The Select Committee on Tobacco and Nicotine Products says the Isle of Man should follow the UK's lead and ban the sale of tobacco.
Under new laws in Westminster, anyone born after January 2009 faces a lifetime smoking ban.
The committee's report is due to be discussed when MHKs gather from 10am on Tuesday, June 23 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
