FOI reveals hospital appointment cancellation details

Manx Care says Noble's Hospital cancelled almost twice as many appointments as patients over the last three years.

A Freedom of Information request asked for data about cancellations along with the reasons they were called off.

Since 2023, almost 103,000 appointments were cancelled by the hospital while patients cancelled just over 57,000.

The most common reason for cancellations was that clinicians were unavailable.
