The Cabinet Office says the Isle of Man has seen just two cases of a potentially deadly virus in the past decade.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about meningitis cases on the Island over the last 10 years.
In its response, the office said there was one case in 2022 and another in 2023.
And it added although Public Health sent warning letters to schools and football clubs, no official public announcement of cases had been made.
