TT Grandstand wasn't refused as polling station

Requests for the TT Grandstand to be used a polling station in the upcoming Douglas North by-election were not refused by government.

That's the message from the Economic Development Minister who says it was the returning officer's decision.

However Laurence Skelly says the officer was advised there would be TT preparation work being carried out on May 21st:
