Those working in the public sector are earning around 13 per cent more than their private sector counterparts, according to a new report.
The government's latest earnings survey report has been published by the Cabinet Office.
In it, it says full-time wages largely stalled last year, with no statistically significant difference to 2024's median earnings.
And it says public sector workers saw a median wage of £828 a week, well above the £720 earned in the private sector.
