Trevor Baines and his Wife Wendy Found Guilty of All Charges
The jury have reached a decision today in the Trevor Baines case; he and his wife Wendy have been found guilty of all charges.
69 year old Mr Baines of Africa House Douglas was found guilty of laundering $175,000,000 of criminal money around banks on the Island. Both he and his wife were also found guilty of false accounting.
The judge commended the jury for their co-operation and having to deal with one of the most complex cases the Island has ever seen.
Sentencing has been postponed until 12th November, while a medical examination and other issues are addressed.
