Tram line damage stops Laxey service

The tram service from Laxey to Snaefell has been suspended due to a road traffic collision yesterday evening.

As a result of the incident the tram power lines snapped, leaving them strewn on the road.

A replacement bus service has been put on and the tram service from the Bungalow to the top of the Mountain is running as normal.

It's not yet known when the relevent maintenance work will be carried out to allow the continuation of the Laxey service.
