An act of criminal damage to a store in Douglas is being looked into by Police.
According to the constabulary, a traffic cone has been thrown through the front window of Emily James Hair and Beauty Salon on Market Street sometime between last Saturday (February 13) and Sunday (February 14).
The front of the premises has had to be boarded up as a result - authorities say the premises had recently reopened following the circuit-break lockdown last month and this act has caused further emotional and financial distress to the owner.
Officers now want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and those who think they could help are asked to call Police Headquarters on 631 212.
