The Manx National Heritage are preparing three of their key sites for an early opening
Peel Castle, Castle Rushen and the Laxey Wheel will be open to the public on weekends from the February half term.
Through research the MNH team established that there was enough of a market to justify the earlier opening times.
Traditionally it would be April before the season started.
Director, Edmund Southworth said despite being a long way from the Island's tourism heyday, visitor figures to the sites are still strong.
