A time capsule discovered at Henry Bloom Noble School has been donated to Manx National Heritage.
The capsule, which is over 118 years old, will be part of the National Collection at the Manx Museum.
It was found beneath one of the school's foundation stones sealed in wax and wrapped in lead.
Its contents included copies of old newspapers from the date it was buried.
