Manx Utilities is warning of smells and noise in Peel from next month as work continues on its sewage pumping station.
Shore Road is due to close outside the facility on the promenade from Monday, September 21 until January.
The organisation says work on an underground tank will mean some periods of loud noise - and because it has to be opened up, there may be some bad smells.
Pedestrian access long the promenade will be maintained throughout.
