Anne Craine Doesn\'t Rule It Out After Being Told To Cut 15% Of Budgets
3fm have been speaking to the Island education minister to find out how their department is coping with the news that they are to cut 15% of their yearly budget.
All Government departments has been told to reassess their budget in order to save money after the VAT agreement with the UK was changed meaning the Isle of man loses out on a significant amount of money every year.
Ann Craine said they are not ruling out job cuts altogether (audio above)
She said that over the coming months they’ll be meeting with staff to discuss how money can be saved within their departments and she welcomes all ideas and opinions.
