 
                            Police are urging people to keep their cars secure after receiving reports of theft from vehicles overnight.
Officers say they've been made aware of a number of cases on Island of vehicles being entered and then items being stolen from within.
As a result, the constabulary is asking motorists to lock their vehicles, keep valuables out of sight and remove loose change.
Authorities added if you see anyone acting suspiciously in your neighbourhood to get in touch on 631 212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
