Teenager admits riding scooter without licence

A teenager will appear in court again next month after admitting riding a scooter without a licence.

Wojciech Podraza of Julian Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.

He admitted having no driving licence on Ballanard Road in Douglas on November 22 last year but denied driving without due care and attention on the same date.

Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood withdrew a charge of possessing cocaine.

The 17 year old was bailed in the sum of £500 and will appear in court again on June 28.
