A new headteacher is set to be at the heart of a school in the North of the Island.
Trish Dudley - who's been at Laxey School since 2001 - will take up the role from September.
She says it's been a 'joy and a privilege' to work at Laxey and says she feels 'honoured' to be returning to Andreas Primary where she initially taught for four years after gaining her qualifications.
She'll replace Rachel Ashley who was recently appointed to the headmasters role at Henry Bloom Noble Primary School in Douglas.
