Postive Action Group meeting in Douglas
The Positive Action Group will be discussing tax fairness at their next meeting to be held this Monday to confront the possibility of the next government raising standard tax rates from 10% and the higher rate of 20%.
The recent decision to scrap the Attribution Regime For Individuals could bring about a reduction in tax take, and the meeting will flag up concern that revisions to the tax system could hit the lower paid.
Former Assesor Of Income Tax Mark Solly will be the guest speaker at the meeting which will be held at the Manx Legion Club, Douglas at 7.30pm.
