Do the Island's richest residents really contribute to the economy?
That's the question being asked by Douglas North MHK David Ashford, who quizzed Treasury Minister Alf Cannan about the Island's tax cap in the House of Keys this week.
Mr Ashford says it's unfair the wealthiest residents pay around 3 per cent in tax while everybody else pays an average of around 8 per cent.
And he says says he doesn't believe all those who get their income tax capped are important to the Island's economy:
