An inspection report into the Island's prison says some progress has been made, but a number of problems remain.
The report by His Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons says the number of prisoners has risen by 50 per cent since an inspection last May.
It found inmates are being strip-searched excessively, and new arrivals wait up to three days for spare clothes but highlighted improvements to education, public protection orders and managing vulnerable prisoners.
The head of the Island's prison and probation service, Leroy Bonnick Leroy Bonnick, explained the findings in a video,
