The Steam Packet Company has condemned the behaviour of some passengers following the abandonment of the Liverpool sailing.
On Monday night, the boat from Liverpool to Douglas was cancelled – with the anti-social behaviour kicking off when passengers realised they'd be staying over night in Liverpool.
Chief executive Mark Woodward said their reaction was atrocious; as they went on to physically and verbally assault shore staff in Liverpool.
Fixtures and fittings were damaged in toilets and the main departure lounge – as police held a presence to calm the situation.
