A groundbreaking ship built in Japan has joined the Isle of Man ship register.
The Oceana Frontier is the world's first dual-fuel bulk carrier to run on liquefied natural gas as well as marine fuel.
The vessel, built by Japan's Tsuneishi Shipbuilding, has an optimised hull and energy-saving technologies to achieve a 50 percent reduction in its energy efficiency design index rating.
Ship registry director Cameron Mitchell welcomed the vessel to the Manx flag.
