Speaker of the House of Keys, Steve Rodan, has warned MHK’s to think of the implications their public comments carry.
It comes after Peter Karran made reference at a meeting to Tynwald being a ‘system of government that is institutionally corrupt’.
Mr Rodan says he deprecates the remarks, branding the accusation unwarranted and untrue.
He says the comments only serve to slur the Island’s good name:
