Regeneration work in Port Erin is on course to be completed ahead of this year's TT.
That's the message from the Town and Village Centre Regeneration Scheme which has funded the project.
The government scheme is part of efforts to make the shopping area more attractive for residents and visitors and to 'help maintain a vibrant town centre'.
However the extensive work - which will see new paving, trees and lighting - has been widely criticised for causing significant disruption for local retailers.
Port Erin Commissioners are supporting the project saying the 'substantial investment' is both 'necessary and long overdue'.
Station Road is being reconstructed with a new road surface and underground services - disabled access and pedestrian access is also being improved.
Some work - on Station Road and Orchard Road - has been completed this week which means the junction at Bridson Street is now reopen.
